TESTIMONIALS
• "Sea Side Kites has been a great addition to our end of summer celebration,
Pops Goes the Summer, an event attended by more than 25,000 people.
Families gather at the Sea Side Kite's table to enjoy the fun of building, designing
and flying their own kites. It is truly enjoyable to watch as children step away
from the table with their own special kite, much to their surprise and shear glee.”
- Carol Summersall, Pops Goes the Summer Committee Member.

• “Sea Side Kites provides us with one of our most anticipated programs of the
entire summer. The kids love creating and flying their very own kite.
This is a great, fun-filled program and we highly recommend it!”

- Frank J. DeSiata, Recreation Director, Westborough Recreation Dept.

• “Sea Side Kites of Nantasket Beach has been an outstanding
addition to our Annual Gloucester Seaport Festival.
Our festival is a family oriented festival focusing
on educational programs and activities for children.
The Sea Side Kites activity area is always one of the
primary stopping points for children of all ages,
innovation and imagination abound.
The kites flying over Gloucester Harbor is a sight to behold.”

- Joanne Souza, Schooner Adventure Public Programs Coordinator

• “Since 2002 Sea Side Kites has been building kites
with kids at the Boston Folk Festival.
The festival staff & volunteers who provide extra
hands helping kids assemble and
decorate their kites enjoy the partnership with
Sea Side Kites in the children’s activities area.
Parents and kids love it, kids leave with a handmade
souvenir of the festival and they have
a toy to play with while parents enjoy the music.
The Sea Side Kites kite-making program is a keeper!!”

- Patricia Monteith, Executive Director, Boston Folk Festival

• “The Ashmont Nursery School, a unique parent-run
cooperative- recently held our annual
live/silent auction fundraiser which was an
evening of great people, food, music, items, and kites!
Jackie and Greg Lamoureux of Sea Side Kites graciously
helped us prepare for the event by
holding a Kites for Kids Program at the school. The children were
thrilled to fly kites that they personalized and we were even
able to get footage for a fun video shown at the event.
Gorgeous colorful kites adorned the venue which
gave the decorating committee a bit of a
break as the kites speak for themselves. We were proud to
auction kites made by the children and
look forward to seeing Sea Side Kites at a park in the near future.
Jackie and Greg have a passion for kites and kids that is contagious!
We highly recommend the Kites for Kids Program to children of all ages.”

- Sheila Traphagen,Vice-President Ashmont Nursery School
